Can I use any image?
Only images for which you own the copyright, or have permission from the copyright holder can be used. We can source images for you, but this adds to the cost and the leadtime.

Does any image work as a jigsaw?
You have to consider the effect the puzzle is trying to achieve, together with the size and 'tease factor'. Large puzzles suit busy images and large areas of one colour, for instance sky or sea, are to be avoided. Although our laser cuts are fine, text and numbers can be affected and is therefore not recommended unless necessary. Our manufacturing process means we lose about 5mm around the edge of the image, so images with borders or detail close to the edge are not recommended.

How long does the process take?
Our standard leadtime is 'within 28 days from proof approval', but we normally aim to ship in two weeks. If you have an urgent requirement please contact the office and we will do our best to help.

What goes on the label?
In most cases we would recommend an image for people to follow, but this can be augmented with as much wording as required. Dates, websites and contact details can all be included. Photography / image rights are usually included where possible.

Can we include inserts within the box?
Inserts are particularly useful for creating response from your puzzles, for instance by providing more information about the image, other products that are available in a range. We can include anything you require within the box, so long at it can be packed at our facilities. We prefer our customers to provide the inserts, but we can provide quotation for producing them for you.

Can you provide custom packaging?
We have good relationships with various packaging suppliers and can usually meet most requirements. Naturally this adds to the lead time, and in small volumes, custom packaging can be quite expensive. We can also accept free issue boxes or other packaging into which we can place your products. This incurs a handling fee.

Do I have to have boxes with the puzzles?
No, we can supply puzzles flat-packed or in poly bags, or packaging provided.

What cut patterns do you have?
We have a range of around 500 cuts to suit most applications, most of which include pieces that are shaped to a particular theme (e.g. Marine, Vintage Transport, Heritage..etc). We also have 'standard' cuts in most sizes, which do not feature our special pieces.

Can you create a cut just for me?
We specialise in creating custom cuts to customer requirement. Most shapes can be incorporated into a cut, including logos or shapes surrounding a place, brand or theme. |
Can I have a specially shaped puzzle?
Yes, so long as we can cut the desired shape. Quotation is made on the size of board needed to produce the puzzle.

What is the minimum order?
Our minimum order depends on the exact nature of the job, but is generally about £250.

What are the despatch options?
We use standard next-day delivery recorded services in the UK. Overseas deliveries take longer. We can use your own shipping partners as required - ask for more details.

We can usually provide a quotation based upon simple questions regarding the application. To produce puzzles we will need the following:
- A high resolution version of the image
- Indication of copyright approval
- A positive proof colour match
- Wording for the label or packaging requirements
- Any inserts for the box
- Preferred delivery option
- Required delivery date
